Dr. Bjarni Már Magnússon

Dr. Bjarni Már Magnússon is a Partner at Polestar Legal, where he advises on legal matters with an international dimension. He has held professorships at Reykjavík University and Bifröst University, where he also served as Dean of the Faculty of Law. His research and publications have been relied upon by States in proceedings before the International Court of Justice, and he has advised foreign governments as well as international and domestic organisations. He has also contributed to legislative drafting and public policy development for the Icelandic authorities. He is a member of the Icelandic Climate Council and has for many years provided expert advice to committees of the Icelandic Parliament on international affairs.
